## Description:

1. Remove SpawnAds and replace it with AdTimer which will delete the
in-game ad after the first minute.
2. remove login blocker UI, we don't use it anymore
3. convert TerritoryPatternsModal & GutterAds to use event based when
checking for flares
4. remove window.PageOS.session.newPageView(); because it was throwing
an exception
5. Convert SpawnTimer to a lit element to give it a higher z-index to
stay above the header ad

## Description:

###  Summary of Changes

This PR enables the ESLint rule **`@typescript-eslint/no-unused-vars`**
as requested in the issue and applies the necessary code adjustments
across the project.

#### 🔧 What was done:
- Activated the rule `@typescript-eslint/no-unused-vars` in the ESLint
config.
- Updated ~70 files to comply with the rule:
  - Replaced unused variables with a `_` prefix where appropriate.
- Added inline ESLint disable comments (`eslint-disable-next-line`) for
specific cases where the variable or code block seemed important for
context, readability, or future use.
- Ensured no linting errors remain related to this rule.

Some cases were handled with inline disable comments instead of removing
the variable entirely, to avoid accidental breaking changes or loss of
intent.
If a different approach is preferred (e.g., stricter removal or
alternative handling), I’m happy to adjust the implementation
accordingly — just let me know!

715775065d Add player-stats-tree-view (#2089)
## Description:

waiting https://github.com/openfrontio/OpenFrontIO/pull/2088

This PR adds the game-list component, which displays player-stats-table
and wlr.
It provides basic functionality such as toggling details and viewing a
specific game, but does not yet include full UI integration.

In later PRs, this component will be shown together with the modal for
viewing player stats.

It should look like this:

## Description:

This PR adds the player-stats-table component, which displays a player’s
statistics in a structured table format.
It focuses on presenting core stats such as building stats, Player
Metrics and more.

The component will later be integrated into the player modal so that
users can view detailed stats alongside other profile information.

Add support for colored territory patterns/skins

* Refactored & updated territory pattern rendering to render colored
skins
* rename public from pattern to skin (keep pattern name internally, too
difficult to rename)
* Moved all territory color logic to PlayerView
* Updated WinModal to show colored skins
* Refactored decode logic into a separate function: decodePatternData
* Refactored/updated how cosmetics are sent to server. Players now send
a PlayerCosmeticRefsSchema in the ClientJoinMessage.
PlayerCosmeticRefsSchema just contains names of the cosmetics, and the
server replaces the names/references with actual cosmetic data
* Refactored PastelThemeDark: have it extend Pastel theme so duplicate
logic can be removed.

* Refactored the pattern button into a reusable PatternButton lit
component
* Used tailwind instead of CSS for styling because the CSS affects lit
components due to using the light-dom
* Removed the tooltip, didn't seem necessary since there is already a
big "purchase" button under the pattern

This PR fixes a visual bug where, when the `alwaysMaximized` property is
enabled on the modal component (`o-modal`), the background color does
not cover the entire content area, especially when the content is
scrollable or overflows.

Aleksey OrekhovskyandGitHub ee459b7410 Reduce Docker image size by refactoring map loading (#1621)
## Description:

This PR implements a major refactoring of how map data is stored and
loaded, as described in #1242. Previously, map data (`.bin` files) was
bundled directly into the client-side JavaScript by Webpack using
`binary-loader`. This approach led to data duplication and increased
bundle/image sizes.

This refactoring changes the strategy entirely:
- `GameMapLoader` interface has been introduced to decouple the map
loading mechanism from the components that use it.
- New `FetchGameMapLoader` implementation loads map data by fetching it
from static server endpoint.
- Webpack configuration and `Dockerfile` have been updated to serve the
map files as static assets and to remove the source `resources/maps`
directory from the final image, thus eliminating data duplication.

This leads to several key improvements:
- Docker image size is reduced from ~750 MB to ~600 MB.
- Build time is decreased. On my local machine, the docker image build
time went from 48s to 43s.
Most of this speed-up comes from faster Webpack builds (reduced from 16s
to 11s), as it no longer needs to process large binary files. This
performance gain will be noticeable for all developers during local
development, not just in the CI workflow.

This is a map of the Yenisei Bay in Russia. It contains 6 nations and

2000x2500 (which also means that it's larger vertically)

I have added the map of Pluto, based on the discord suggestion that has
41 upvotes.

The map doesn't cover all of Pluto, because we simply don't have the
data about the other side. Instead this map covers most of the mapped
area which has high quality height data.

floriankilianandGitHub be8b7a5cb4 feat(news-button): highlight button when new version is available (#1385)
Introduced a visual indicator for the NewsButton component to notify
users about new content upon version update. This change adds an
`isActive` state to the NewsButton that checks against the version
stored in localStorage. If a new version is detected, the button is
highlighted with specific styling defined in styles.css, including a
pulsing notification effect to draw user attention. The state resets to
inactive upon button click. This enhancement improves user engagement by

## Description:

Move map generation outside of main repo, it has been rewritten in Go
and is much faster. Also refactor how maps are stored, one dir per map.
The map binaries are basically identical to before. Some maps like
Africa have 1% difference in bytes, but playing it looks exactly the
same.

Use lazy loading for map data access so only needed files are accessed.

Unit tests now load map binary instead of regenerating it from scratch,
speeding them up.

a18b5e418b Rev: Update "Japan and Neighbors" map to "East Asia" (#1007)
**Closes Issue #1001.**

_Will require updates to translations for each language but English is
in place as are pointers to relevant map files and thumbnails._

All assets and references to the Japan and Neighbors map have been
updated to reflect East Asia.

## Description:
Updating the modal_content overflow behavior from "scroll" to "auto"
presents the scroll-bar when content overflows on the Y axis but hides
it when not necessary to view all content.

3a481d3d16 Main menu UI cleanup (#857)
## Description:

- Fixes right side of the username box not being aligned with the rest
of the menu by fully hiding the news button
- Styled news button to match flag button (although a style more like
the secondary buttons would be better IMO, this is more of a temp fix)
- Invalid username popup no longer vertically shifts the rest of the
menu

70745faac4 Enable strictNullChecks, eqeqeq (#436)
## Description:

Improve type safety and runtime correctness by:
1. Enabling TypeScript's
[strictNullChecks](https://www.typescriptlang.org/tsconfig/#strictNullChecks)
compiler option.
2. Replacing all loose equality operators (`==` and `!=`) with strict
equality operators (`===` and `!==`).
3. Cleaning up of type declarations, null handling logic, and equality
expressions throughout the project.

Currently, the code allows implicit assumptions that `null` and
`undefined` are interchangeable, and relies on type-coercing equality
checks that can introduce subtle bugs. These practices make it difficult
to reason about when values may be absent and hinder the effectiveness
of static analysis.

Migrating to strict null checks and enforcing strict equality
comparisons will clarify intent, reduce bugs, and make the codebase
safer and easier to maintain.

This PR adds the "Baikal" map which is a cutout from the whole real life
lake, as the lake itself is very large vertically and wouldn't make as a
very good map by itself. This map has some rivers and a very big sort of
water body that seperates the map in two(it was kind of designed for the
teams gamemode). It's nations are some features around that region.

• Centralizes all language-related logic in LangSelector.ts &
LanguageModal.ts
	•	Redesigns the language selection UI for better UX across devices

LanguageModal.ts
	•	Prevents background scrolling when open

APuddle210andGitHub 71ddeca7f0 Map Revisions, one Addition, and Adjustment to Lobby Max Player based on Map Sizes (#389)
## Description:

Implementation of separate lobby playlists, one for large maps another
for small, with the implementation framework being easily adjusted for
additional playlist categories in the future (such as fantasy maps).

Addition of new map 'Between Two Seas' a small map, replacing Black Sea
in the public lobby rotation (Black Sea retained for singleplayer or
private lobbies.

Adjustments to lobbyMaxPlayer configuration function. Broke out into
tranches by map pixel count, commented to communicate to other collabs
which tranch to place their map in. This change pairs well with the
adjustment to lobby map selection to alternate between big and small
maps. For the Potato (and mobile) players.

Revision to Mena, adding lakes and rivers.

Revisions to Japan, adding lakes and rivers, slight change of bounds to
include more mainland and less ocean.

The below no longer applies, I talked to Duwibi (Nikola123) who
explained the source of the issue is outside my control, but that he was
taking the action necessary to resolve.

The only issue still present after testing the the display of the map
name for Between Two Seas on the Public Lobby button. I've asked for
assistance with this issue on the Discord and will submit a fix as soon
as I can figure out its cause. Does not impact gameplay and its 3:30am
so hopefully this issue is not enough to prevent a merge as aside from a
quick fix PR, I don't think I'll be able to do any more work until after
this weekend.
